10,000 traffic violators huli sa no contact apprehension

10,000 traffic violators huli sa no contact apprehension

NAHULI ng Metro­politan Manila Develop­ment Authority (MMDA) ang mahigit 10,000 traffic violators na lumabag sa “yellow lane policy” sa pama­magitan ng no contact apprehension.

Ayon kay MMDA traffic czar Bong Nebrija, may average na 2,000 traffic violators sa EDSA ang kanilang nahuhuli kada araw.

Ang 70 porsiyento rito ay mga pribadong moto­rista na madalas na lumalabag sa “yellow lane policy.”

“We want to inform the motorists who do not follow the traffic rules on EDSA that you are being monitored through our non-contact apprehen|­sion,” ani Nebrija.

Sinabi ni Nebrija pinaigting din nila ang “physical appre­hen­sion” sa pamama­gitan ng panghuhuli ng kani­lang enforcers, bukod sa non-contact appre­hension.

“Nag-intensify na kami ng apprehension of the yellow lane policy on the ground and naglagay kami ng corral at ‘yung traffic enfor­cers ay ginawa na rin human barriers kasi ang dami-dami pa rin ng violators sa policy,” ayon kay Nebrija.
