“Sabi ni PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino, well and good kung merong magkukusa. As we speak, seven minutes ago, one of the candidates who filed her certificate of candidacy is on her way to our office to voluntarily submit herself to a drug test,” ayon kay PDEA Director  Derrick Arnold Carreon sa ginanap na RealNumbersPH press briefing.

“May ruling na po diyan ang Supreme Court hinggil sa yung pag-i-impose ng drug test on candidates because apparently, the Supreme Court has ruled that it is unconstitutional because it runs counter to the requirements already embodied in the omnibus election code,” dagdag niya.

“It’s purely voluntary at the moment.

Kimberly Molitas.
