I find this story about this aging actress and this comedic actress quite ‘horrifying’ in the sense that it more than shows what would happen to us if we don’t value the enormous blessings that the Lord has showered us with.

Imagine, nagulat daw ang isang di naman kasikatang actress/comedienne sa biglaang pagdalaw sa kanya ng isang veteran actress na mas sikat sa kanyang di hamak. Naka-taxi lang daw kasi ang dating mega rich na aktres at ala-ala na lamang ang kanyang mga sasakyang imported noong panahon ng kanyang pamamayagpag sa industriya.

Sa awa raw ng di sing-sikat pero marunong humawak ng andalung aktres, pinahiram niya ang kanyang caru at driver sa bete-ranang aktres na ginamit nito sa pag-iikot ala-Rosanna Roces (ala-Rosanna Roces raw talaga, o! Hahahahahahahahaha!) sa mga walk niya kung saan-saan.

Sa mga walk daw kung saan-saan, o! Hahahahahahaha!

Sa awa ng Diyos, madaling araw na raw nang maibalik ang caru ng komedyana pero dahil may pinagsamahan naman, ipinahatid pa niya ang aging actress sa balayzung nito with matching ‘career’ siyempre.

Well, ‘yan kasi ang problema kung hindi natin minahal ang perang biyaya sa atin ng Diyos.

Ang sabi nga niyan, what the Lord giveth, the Lord taketh.

Who would ever have the slightest hunch that this veteran actress would experience a poverty as nerve-shattering as the one she’s presently saddled with?

‘Yan kasi, masyadong nadala ng pag-iilus-yon kaya ‘yun din ang tindi ng kanyang paglagapak.

How so very sad!

Nabasa namin lately sa column ng isa na-ming colleague na naikuha raw ni Kuya Germs (this was prior to his health problem that has made him momentarily hospitalized) ng isang project sa Dos ang kaibigan niyang si Ms. Nora Aunor.

On top of that, Kuya Germs would also want to secure another project for his friend of long standing at GMA 7.

Of course the superstar has a mind of her own but I sincerely hope that she would take her career seriously this time since she’s not getting any younger and the twilight zone seems to have eagerly waited for her all these years.

Kung tutuusin, ‘yung 150 thousand (up to 250 K so they say) that she gets paid for her indie movies would, in a way, suffice for her survival only if she would let go of this casino habit that she’s been saddled with for quite sometime.

Of course Ms. Aunor would vehemently deny this but a lot of people would attest to her kind of addiction to this online casino thing.

Hay, naku, Ate Guy. Hindi na tayo bumabata, don’t you think it’s high time we should think of our future for a change?

Sayang naman kung sa wala rin mapupunta ang lahat ng biyayang ibinigay sa atin ng Diyos.

Mukhang papatok nang husto sa rating ang bagong episode ng Give love on Christmas na Exchange Gift nina KC Concepcion at Paulo Avelino. Kaaliw kasi ang pagiging kikay at palatawa rito ni KC na perfect foil sa pagiging bugnutin ni Pau.

Obvious rin with the way they look at each other that there’s really genuine love between the two of them even if they are not into admitting anything yet.

Well, sana naman ay si Pau na nga ang Mr. Right na matagal nang hinihintay ng ating dalaga.

It’s more than about time that she settles down. After all, she’s mature enough to seriously consider marriage.
