Nouri tampok sa Hong Kong Open Chess

MATAPOS ang magandang performance sa 10th Malaysian Chess Festival 2013 na ginanap sa five-star Mid Valley Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia nitong nakaraang buwan nang kunin ang coveted gold medal, ang young Filipino at World Youngest Fide Master Alekhine Nouri ay makikipagtagisan ng talino kontra sa world renowned players sa Hong Kong International Open Chess Championships 2013.

Ang Hong Kong International Open Chess Championships 2013, ay isang elite event na nakalista sa Fide calendar at gaganapin sa Convocation Room, Main Building room 218, The University of Hongkong, Pok Fu Lam Road, Hongkong mula Setyembre  27 hanggang Oktubre 1.

Ang kanyang butihing ama na si Fide Master Hamed Nouri, ay ipinangalan ang Alekhine mula kay great world champion Alexander Alekhine, isa sa best ever player na naglaro ng sport ng chess.

Si Alekhine na grade one pupil ng FEU-FERN College sa Quezon City ay tubong Escalante City, Negros Occidental at kasalukuyang nakabase sa Taguig City.

Ang kampanya ni Alekhine sa Hongkong International Open Chess Championships ay suportado nina Bayan Muna party-list representative Neri Javier Colmenares, NCFP Chairman/President Prospero “Butch” Pichay Jr., Secretary-General Cavite 7th district Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino Jr. and Executive Director GM Jayson Gonzales, FEU-FERN College in Quezon City, the Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee at former Cagayan de Oro no.1 chess player Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III.
