Macoy Mendoza, breaks into the music scene

ALL roads lead to Teatrino, Promenade, Greenhills this coming Saturday, July 7 as Front Desk Entertainment Production mounts the  TRIPLE 7 The Concert topbilled by Dubai-based belter Prima Diva Billy under the musical direction of the very respected Butch Miraflor. Taking turns in the said intimate concert are guests Duncan Ramos, Willy Jones, Mr. Binan 2018 Briant Scott Lomboy, Macoy Mendoza and Kiel plus the very special participation of the country’s number one comic duo AJ Tamiza and Le Chazz.

“This is my first time to perform in a concert kaya kabado talaga ako. But since parang family naman sila sa akin, at least nababawasan ang kaba ko. Sabi nga nila, dahil ginusto ko ang mundong ito, kailangang panindigan ko. I’ve always dreamt of entering the music business since I was younger,” says 18 year-old looked Macoy who was discovered and being managed by Ron Michael Nieto.

“Parang baptism of fire of sort ito. I am doing a few songs as guest here pero ‘di na ako mapagtulog sa sobrang excitement. Feeling ko concert ko. Ha! Ha! Ha! I am wishing and hoping that you will love my kind of music,” Macoy adds.

Macoy is the son of couple Chona and Ignacio Mendoza who are into the electrical and construction business. Both parents also sing probably a big influence to Macoy who idolizes Bruno Mars, Adele and Ariana Grande.

“This boy has so much to offer. Malawak ang range niya. Siguradong in the next months ay pupuwesto ito sa music business. Lalo ‘pag nagka-recording na iyan, malamang na maraming pakakaining alikabok iyan,” says DZMM radio host Jobert Sucaldito and producer of this very intimate concert at Teatrino.
