Sa isang interbyu sa mag-inang Lucy at Julia, the latter was asked if she would rather have a boyfriend who is handsome but not so intelligent, or smart but not good-looking.
Dagdag pa ni Lucy: ”I always say be careful what you pray for.
Deklara ni Julia, ”I don’t want to get married at 20. I’m still in college. I don’t know what I want to become yet. I haven’t figured it all out yet. I feel younger than ever.”
At the moment, she stressed, she enjoys being around her friends who visit her home and have been treated by her mom as part of their family.
When asked about what questions annoy her the most, she said it has to do with the allegation that she does not want any brother or sister kaya naging only child siya ng sikat na sikat na parents n’ya.
Pagtutuwid ni Julia, ”It’s always been okay with me. People always think that I don’t want a sibling, I don’t think I ever said that I didn’t want one.”
When asked if she ever considered being an actress, given that both her parents are from showbiz, Gomez said acting and being in the spotlight never really interested her.
“It (acting) never interested me because I always wanted to be behind-the-scenes,” she said.
She might consider working behind the scenes, perhaps by producing or directing documentaries.
