“Another cause for concern regarding the research is the potential testicular damage that can occur following an infection with Covid-19. It’s too early to tell if the damage is permanent, temporary or if it can affect fertility. Age is also an important aspect to consider, as it’s a risk factor for developing both ED and a severe case of Covid-19,” ani Berglund.

“There have been studies showing that perhaps there are cardiovascular effects and other medical effects appearing from Covid-19, but the answer is that it’s just too early to tell what exactly all of the long-term effects are,” dagdag ng espeysalista.

“We know there are a number of different ways that the virus could cause erectile dysfunction, but much more research is needed before we know for sure.” (TRACY CABRERA)
