The Philippine adaptation of Miracle in Cell No.7 is not the first movie wherein Aga Muhlach and director Nuel Naval worked together.
They already worked together in Aga’s movie under Star Cinema Kailangan Kita in the year 2002.
Nuel was then working as production designer of the project, that’s why Aga and him are already comfortable with each other.
Nuel described Aga as a “humble actor” because of his down-to-earth attitude while shooting the movie which is an official entry to the 45th Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Si Aga,” director Nuel said of his lead actor, “napaka-humble niya. As an actor, he’s very giving.
“I really appreciate that. Kasi as a director, parang dumadali ang trabaho mo.
Iba-block mo lang and then, lahat sila gumagalaw na,” Nuel intoned.
Technically naman daw, he had the good fortune of working with the best director of photography, Anne Monzon.
One of the best production designers rin daw ang kasama niya sa pelikula, si Elfren Vibar.
Direktor na raw si Elfren pero for the sake of this movie, nag-work muli bilang production designer ng pelikula.
