Ryza Cenon, idolo si Jodi Sta. Maria

AFTER having stayed in the business for 12 solid years, it is but now that Ryza Cenon appears to have the break of a lifetime.

This is by way of the movie Mr. & Mrs. Cruz of Viva Films, where she has debonair JC Santos as leading man.

“Yes po. Sa 12 years ko po, ngayon lang po ako nakagawa ng pelikula,” she quipped. “And may pressure for me kasi hindi ko alam ‘yung process,” the Ultimate Female Survivor of StarStruck 2 hastened to add.

Hindi ito talaga ang unang pelikula ni Ryza but she delineated supporting roles in these movies: Lovestruck (2005), Puso 3 (2006), Migrante (2012), Diyos-Diyosan (2016), at Enteng Kabisote and the Abangers (2016).

She was also the lead actress in “Ang Manananggal” sa Unit 23B in the year 2016, but it’s an indie movie.

“Masaya, sobrang blessed ako na unti-unti ko siyang nakukuha,” she averred. “I know it’s late. Kasi I’m 30 na, kaya I think it’s late na rin.”

No wonder, the 35-year-old Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria, happens to be the one she’d like to emulate.

“Nakita ko kay Ate Jodi ‘yung career,” she said as an after thought, “nagkaroon ako ng chance.

“Parang siya ‘yung nagbigay ng hope sa akin na may pag-asa pa ako, and this is it.”

Sa mga tulad niyang matagal bago dumating ang break, sinabi niyang never silang mag-give-up. Huwag daw silang magtanong kung bakit. Eventually, the break they are hankering for would come when they least expected it.

“Basta mapatapat lang ang tamang role sa kanila na kaya nilang gawin at mailalabas nila ‘yung talent nila, roon sila mapapansin.”

The press had a field day talking to Ryza at the press conference of Mr. & Mrs. Cruz last Tuesday evening.

Right now, she’s under the management of Viva Artists Agency, where she now has a 10-year contract, after having worked for the GMA Artist Center for more than a decade. It’s, admittedly, a bit risky but she needs to do it so that she could move forward.

But in a way, she will always remain to be a Kapuso since ongoing pa rin ang pinagbibidahan niyang afternoon teleserye sa GMA, the top-rating Ika-6 Na Utos where she is pitted against Sunshine Dizon and Gabby Concepcion.

Priority pa rin daw niya ang paggawa ng TV projects under the GMA banner.

NAGING KATATAWANAN
SI LOLITA BURUKA!

KATAWA-TAWA naman itong si Lolita Buruka. Imagine, para na rin siyang nilait ni John Lloyd Cruz dahil sa patutsadang take it, take it pero sa halip na gumanti at tumalak, pa-pity me award ang kanyang ganti. Hahahahahahahahaha!

Gone are the days when she was so pugnacious and feisty.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!

‘Yun ang sumpa sa ‘yo gurang na take it, take it.

How so pathetic!

Sa kanyang column at maging sa kanyang Instagram account, parang luka-lukang palaging binabanggit ang pangalan ng kanyang lady editor which, in a way, is her way of cowtowing and ingratiating. Hahahahahahahahahaha!

How so pathetic!

Anyhow, I guess it’s more than about time that she goes back to elementary because her Instagram postings show her illiteracy as a person. Dahil walang nag-e-edit, bukong-buko na she’s not aware about her grammar.

Instead of using period, puro comma ang ginagamit ng hitad. Hahahahahahahahahaha!

It only shows the kind of education that she has.

Hahahahahahahahahaha!

How stupid of her!

How gorss! Hahahahahahahahaha!

Harharharharharharharhar!

Ayokoooooooooooooh! Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Another thing, before you write something, make sure that your facts are right, old hag.

Or better still, confer with your ghost writer first para hindi ka naman napahihiya.

Do you understand?

Tonta!

Tonta raw, o! Hahahahahahahahahahaha!

Babu!
