A Song of Praise ng UNTV, Grand Finals sa November 7

MULI na namang masasaksihan ang UNTV’s A Song of Praise (ASOP) Music Festival Grand Finals. Ngayon ay nasa ika-limang taon na, gaganapin ito sa November 7, 7 pm sa Smart Araneta Coliseum na may higit na isang milyong cash prizes at stake.

Labingdalawang new Songs of Praise ang magtatagisan para sa Song of the Year award na ang mananalo ay tatanggap ng kalahating milyon pisong gantimpala.

Ang isang dosenang mga natatanging awiting ito ay galing sa monthly winners na nagsimula noong November 2015. Ang the grand champion dito ay tatanggap ng Php500,000 cash prize, samantalang ang non-winning entries ay makakakuha ang bawat isa ng Php20,000. Ang Best Interpreter Award at ang People’s Choice Award ay kapwa tatanggap ng Php50,000.

Kabilang sa listahan ng grand finalists para sa taong ito ang mga sumusunod:

Tapat Mong  Pangako – Composition and Lyrics by Gulliver Enverga, which was performed by The Voysing; 3. Ikaw Lamang – Composition and Lyrics by Jonathan Sta. Rita, which Tim Pavino performed; 4. Ikaw Pala – Composition and Lyrics by Wilfredo Gaspar, performed by Ima Castro; 5. Tanging Ligaya – Composition and Lyrics by Angelica Soriano, which was interpreted by Zendee. Kabilang pa sa finalists ang, 6. Ang Iyong Pangalan – Composition and Lyrics by RomaricoMendiola Jr., which was performed by Jovit Baldovino; 7. Patawarin Mo Ako – Composition and Lyrics by Fernando Gardon, which Kris Lawrence performed; 8. Araw at Ulan – Composition and Lyrics by JoselitoCaleon, which Sitti performed; 9. Pag-ibig Ka, Oh Dios – Composition and Lyrics by LJ Manzano, performed by JBK; 10. Mula sa Aking Puso – Composition and Lyrics by Joseph Ponce, and performed by Carlo David; (11) Kumapit Ka Lang – Composition and Lyrics by Noemi Ocio, with the performance of Mela; at (12) You Stood By Me – Composition and Lyrics by Vincent Labating, with the performance of Jason Fernandez.

Ang ASOP ay sinimulan at mula sa inisyatiba nina Kuya Daniel Razon at Bro. Eli Soriano ng Members Church of God International (MCGI) na mas kilala sa religious program nitong Ang Dating Daan (The Old Path). Layunin ng ASOP Music Festival na i-enocurage ang mga amateur and professional songwriters upang lumikha at ihandog o i-share ang mga awitin ng pagpupuri sa Diyos.
