FOR Mayor Jaime Fresnedi, the development of a city constitutes all of its citizens being supported and equipped by the local government to progress.
The growth of a city rests not only on few individuals moving forward but is a picture of a community advancing together.
The City Government on Fresnedi administration promotes inclusive development as a top agenda, alongside with the Eight Point Program of Governance in Muntinlupa City.
Fresnedi holds dialogue with Muslim community, public transport groups, and senior citizen organizations to know the vulnerable sectors’ areas of concern for the local government to address.
Members and officials of Muslim Association of Vendors visit the City Government for talks on trade industry in the city. Business Permits and Licensing Officer Gary Llamas on meetings with the Muslim businessmen assures them that the local government will be of support to their endeavors.
Fresnedi also conducts regular consultation with public transport groups to meet gap of the marginalized sector. The senior citizens in Muntinlupa are also supported with medical, financial, and social assistance by the local government.
With inclusivity in mind, the City Government consequently works to give locals services on areas such as health, education, and employment.
Muntinlupa residents enjoy free and quality medical care services in community health centers and through the local hospital-Ospital ng Muntinlupa. Patients admitted to OSMun avail of the 25% – 75% medical subsidy. Qualified patients may also benefit from the No Balance Billing program which offers beneficiaries less amount or no cash-out of their hospital bills.
In the area of education, a comprehensive scholarship program are given to constituents, from elementary to college, technical-vocational, and graduate students. As of this writing, the local government fosters to 30,000 scholars and thrust to add more beneficiaries. Fresnedi plans for every family to have someone being supported by the City Government.
In the area of employment, the vision of bringing jobs to at least one member of each Muntinlupeño family is promoted. The local government continues to organize avenues in bringing job opportunities to locals through jobs fair even in the barangays. Locals are also capacitated with necessary skills needed by industries to help them be hired.
The battle cry of Fresnedi administration has always been development for all. Mayor Fresnedi hopes to continue his Eight Point Program of Governance on Health, Education, Livelihood and Employment, Socialized Housing, Peace and Order, Environmental Protection, Economic Development, and Good Governance in the service of the people of Muntinlupa.
Lintek talaga. Mga tsekwa na naman ang suspects.
