10,000 Hours ni Robin, big winner sa 2013 MMFF awards night!

UMANI ng tagumpay ang pelikula ni Robin Padilla sa katatapos na 39th Metro Manila Film Festival awards night na ginanap noong Biyernes ng gabi sa Meralco Theater.

Labing-apat na awards ang kabuuang natanggap ng 10,000 Hours, samantalang apat ang nakuha ng My Little Bossings, at tatlo ang Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy. Tag-isa naman Boy Golden at Pagpag.

Nakuha nina Robin (para sa pelikulang 10,000 Hours) at Maricel Soriano (para sa pelikulang Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy) ang Best Actor at Best Actress award. Si Aiza Seguerra naman ang itinanghal na Best Supporting Actress at si Ryzza Mae Dizon ang Best Child Performer mula sa pelikulang My Little Bossings.

Itinanghal ding Best Picture ang 10,000 Hours, 2nd Best Picture ang Girl, Boy Bakla, Tomboy, at 3rd Best Picture ang My Little Bossings.

Best Float naman ang Boy Golden nina Gov. ER Ejercito at KC Concepcion.

Nakuha rin ng 10,000 Hours ang mga award bilang Best Director—Bb. Joyce Bernal; Gat Puno Villegas Cultural Award, Best Supporting Actor—Pen Medina; Best Original Story; Best Screenplay; Best Sound Engineering; Best Musical Score; Best Visual Effects and Best Production Design; Best Editor—Marya Ignacio; Best Cinematography; at FPJ Memorial Award for Excellence.

Best Original Theme Song naman ang My Little Bossings at Most Gender-Sensitive Film (Main) ang Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy na idinirehe ni Wenn Deramas.

Youth’s Choice Award winner naman ang pelikula nina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo, ang Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay. Itinanghal ding Male Star of the Night si Daniel samantalang ang Female Star of the Night naman ay si Eugene Domingo.

Ang mga iba pang nanalo ay ang mga sumusunod: Student short film (New Wave) Special Jury Prize winner—#NoFilter ni Luigi Rosario;

Animation (New Wave) Special Jury Prize winner— Ang Lalong ni Kulakog ni Omar Aguilar; Animation (New Wave) Best Picture— Kaleh and Mbaki ni Dennis Sebastian;New Wave full-length Best Director—Armando Lao, Dukit; New Wave full-length Special Jury Prize winner—Mga Anino ng Kahapon;  New Wave full-length Best Picture—Dukit;  New Wave full-length Best Actress—Agot Isidro para sa Mga Anino ng Kahapon.

Most Gender-Sensitive Film (New Wave full-length) naman ang Island Dreams na idinirehe ni Aloy Adlawan; Most Gender-Sensitive Film (New Wave student films category) ang Hintayin Mo sa Seq. 24  na idinirehe ni Jezreel Reyes.                   (M.V.N.)
