AYON naman sa brain behind the Creative Hairsystems na Deputy Administrator for the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) na si Arnell Ignacio, ”I am just so happy to see my real friends from way back na sa isang text ko lang eh, nanditong lahat to support me with my brainchild which I am relinquishing to my one and only daughter Sofia.”
Ang kuwento nga ni Arnel, pareho sila ng friend niyang si Ai Ai na may anak na Sofia.
“Halos magkasabay nga ipinanganak. Kaya pareho rin ang mga pangalan. Kaya ‘pag nag-usap na kami ni Ailyn (Ai Ai’s real name), tungkol sa mga bata, hindi namin napipigilan na maging emosyonal. Imagine, 22 na si Pie!
“Akala ng marami porke nag-iisang anak eh, spoiled na siya. Pero, lumaki naman siya sa disiplinang mayroon ang tatay niya.
“Noong nakita ko naman na interesado siya sa business that I opened, I enrolled her to become a certified microblading artist to continue managing our family’s company. Ito na nga. A company which provides world-class hair replacement systems made from human hair alongside other services including semi-permanent makeup for the brows, lips, eyes, face and even lash perming. These things became Sofia’s grand plans for the family business.
“Creative Hair Systems has been with the family since 2005 and having only one branch has helped us with quality control. Now that Sofia is working for the family business, we have plans of opening more branches. Kaya we are now at the Swire Elan Suites along Annapolis in Greenhills, for a bigger and better facility for our clients.
“I know what she wants and kilala ko ang anak ko to be a go-getter. So driven and so committed to this. When she trained and got her certificate abroad, nandoon ako. Stage father! Kaya naiyak na naman ako seeing her in this now.
“When you’re committed to something, you think about constantly improving not just your product or service but you and the people you work with. It’s going to take a lot of guts and ideas, ‘yan naman ang turo ko sa kanya.”
Arnel’s Sofia studied Basic and Masteral Semi-Permanent Makeup at Andy Pasion Asia Training Institute and has won an Excellence Award in Eyebrow Embroidery (Manual Stranding) at the Beauty Professional Philippines Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) Competition along with a host of other awards she has garnered so far.
Dagdag naman ni Sofia, ”When I had that one mean client, I cried for three days. I didn’t know how to handle it but thankfully, my Papa, my staff and close friends knocked some sense into me. I learned that I shouldn’t measure my worth by what other people say, and remember that I am loved and I have the pleasure of calling my job my passion.
“Without him, I wouldn’t have the mental capacity to power through difficult situations and I wouldn’t have been as committed to doing my best unlike today.”
Isang kayamanang hindi lang kay Sofia laan ang pagpapala kundi sa mga taong patuloy din nilang matutulungan sa kanilang business na may advocacy.
Sumang-ayon dito ang mga kaibigan ni Arnell na hindi sila binigong mag-ama sa espesyal na araw ng pagtataas nila ng kanilang negosyo sa Panginoon: Pastor Bojo, Edu Manzano na saglit na iniwan amg mga constituent niya sa San Juan,Mocha Uson, Grace Ibuna, Ana Abiera Delmoral, Dulce, John Nite at marami pa mula sa OWWA, mula sa showbiz, at sa iba pang larangang inikutan ni D.A. Arnell!
