THEY started out as a love team but when Julia Barretto came into the picture, Loisa Andalio was relegated to the background.

Nevertheless, they maintain a good working relationship on the set of The Good Son: “Okay naman, ‘di naman kami nahihirapang magtrabaho. Trabaho lang talaga kami.”

Just like Elisse Joson and Jerome Ponce, they are civil on the set of The Good Son.

Looking back, it would be recalled that Joshua was the first actor to be teamed up with Loisa right after she went out of The PBB House in 2014. They were together at the afternoon serye Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita wayback in the year 2015.

After which, they went on separate ways.

Joshua has become the other half of the fast becoming famous JosLia love team since the tandem clicked in Vince and Kath and Love You To the Stars And Back.

Anyway, Loisa has been paired off with different leading men. She was Yves Flores love interest in Be My Lady, Jameson Blake and Mark Oblea in My Dear Heart and Wansapanataym: My Hair Lady, and Jerome Ponce’s love interest in Wansapanataym: Candy Crush.

In an interview at the presscon of The Revenger Squad that was held in the faraway Sta. Rosa, Laguna, she was asked about her working relationship with Joshua for the The Good Son. “Okay naman, ‘di naman kami nahihirapang magtrabaho,” she said in earnest.

In her recent guesting at Gandang Gabi Vice, she was in the company of Elisse and Vice said that Ronnie and Loisa are already very much on but they just don’t want to show it.

“Si Ate Vice?” she said with a straight face. “Wala, kasi si Ate Vice mahilig talaga siyang mangganyan, mangbuko.

“Wala naman, masaya naman.

“Masaya kami, masaya kami sa private life namin at siyempre sa kanya-kanya naming career.

“Relationship? Wala pa naman, ‘di kami nagmamadali.

“Darating pero ‘di nagmamadali.

“Lumalabas kami pag wala kaming work. Exclusively dating, gano’n.”

Lately, she was hospitalized because of gastritis.

“Minsan nakalilimutan rin sigurong kumain sa oras,” she intimated. “Salamat sa mga fans na nag-alalala.

“Nag-update naman ang Mama ko saka ‘yung PA ko na okay na ako.”

IT is sad but Jameson Blake candidly admits that he’s been repeatedly bashed lately since he did a movie (Connected under Regal) with Janella Salvador that is slated to get shown sometime next year.

“Well, to be honest,” he said matter of factly, “it’s actually happening now, e.

“It’s like some people are bashing me on Twitter.

“Mabuti na lang my fans are helping me ‘cause I don’t want to fight with anyone.

“Ako, as person, I’m a peaceful person. I don’t like fights.

“Kahit mga ano sa internet, hindi naman ako umaaway sa Twitter or anything.

“Siguro may fans, of course, their loyal to their… if they have another love team, gano’n, they’ll have an argument, they won’t agree with that, so…”

Admittedly, he gets affected also when the bashings would be so intense.

“Of course, I’m not doing naman anything,” he said stoically. “I’m not fighting with the fans naman, e.

“And I’m just telling them how happy I am to work with her (Janella), happy to get the lead role.”

Jameson was interviewed by the press at the grand mediacon of Regal’s entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017, Haunted Forest.

“Ngayon, when I see those tweets, naapektohan din ako nang konti, I just learned to forget about it, cause people can really be… they would disagree sa mga sinasabi.

“They can really be mean. Siyempre, hindi ko kilala ang fans, so that’s what they’re saying naman.”

Still about the bashing, he would talk about it to Janella in a positive light.

“I’m just makin’ it in a joking way na parang, ‘Bina-bash ako ng fans mo.’” he averred. “Pero we don’t really talk about it kasi…”

Janella knows that people can be mean.

“Even siya mismo,” he said with good humor,” she said na she has fans who are mean as well, so we can’t control that, e.

“What we’re focusing now is ‘yung good work namin, what we’re doing for the movie, ‘yung craft namin.

“We don’t really talk about the bashers.

“The fans kasi, expected naman na may mga ganoong tao.”

Predictably so, ini-expect niyang kapag malapit nang ipalabas ang kanilang movie ay higit na darami ang kanyang bashers.

But right now, he wants to focus on their festival movie Haunted Forest that he prays would earn enormous amount of money at the box-office.

And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.

Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
