Geisler kumasa kay Matos dahil sa pag-ibig

ANG dapat sana’y nagtapos sa isang away-kalye ang kinasasabikan ngayong digmaan sa loob ng arena sa paghaharap ng kontrobersiyal na aktor na si Baron Geisler at ang kasama niya sa  entertainment industry na si Kiko Matos.

Sa Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) forum sa Shakey’s Malate, nagharap ang dalawang aktor para ihayag na tuloy na tuloy na ang kanilang paghaharap sa octagon ring ng Universal Reality Combat Championship Fight Night sa Valkyrie sa Taguig City sa nalalapit na Sabado, Hunyo 25.

“Everything I do is for a cause. It’s not all about me. It’s not about you. It’s about Him (God) and these other people na naagrabyado,” ani Geisler sa pagsang-ayon sa laban nila ni Matos.

“Me and Kiko, we just wanted to settle it sa street fight. Pero pinick-up po ng ABS-CBN, pinick-up po ng URCC—‘yong MMA. I think it would be better na we’ll settle our differences,” dagdag ni Geisler.

Ayon sa aktor, may mahalagang dahilan umano kung bakit pumayag din siya sa pagharap niya kay Matos sa loob ng arena. “It’s for a cause that includes freeing political prisoners like Maricon Montajes, a student from the University of the Philippines that was detained in Batangas,” aniya.

Nagpasalamat din si Geisler kay URCC founder Alvin Aguilar sa pagbibigay-daan sa oportunidad na magresolba ang sigalot sa pagitan nila ni Matos. “After this fight, I will not smoke and I will not drink. And that’s a challenge not kay Kiko Matos, pero sa sarili ko po (but for me) because health is wealth,” aniya.

“I’m not your typical actor, not your typical celebrity. I’m just human, I have feelings. And punong-puno ako ng pag-ibig. Marami akong minamahal sa buhay.”
