Kaya as you can very see, Georgina Wilson got married last April 30 to her foreigner fiance in London.

Susunod naman ang kasal ni Solenn Heussaff sa kanyang Argentinian boyfriend na si Nico Bolzico na gaganapin sa Chateau de Combourge in Brittany, France. To follow naman ang kanilang Manila church wedding sometime in June sa Santuario de San Jose Parish sa Forbes park, Makati.

Malamang na this year na rin ikasal si Isabelle Daza at ang kanyang French fiance na si Adrian Semblat.

Anyway, foreigner rin ang husband to be ng unica hija ni Vicki Belo na si Cristalle Henares, si Justin Pitt.

Gaganapin ang kanilang kasal sa isang 19th Century Villa in Italy.

Not to be outdone, Francine Prieto is going to get married also in Italy to her American molecular biologist fiance’ Frank Shotkoski sometime in September 21 with a belated wedding reception at The Beach along Panay Avenue in Kyusi.

SEF CADAYONA AND JACKIE RICE PAY  IT FORWARD

Punduhan, Bulacan shelters a Dumagat tribe, which  despite the advanced technology in the country, still has no access to clean water. As GMA Artist Center star Sef Cadayona celebrated his birthday, he took part in an initiative to provide the indigenous people of Pundahan with potable water last April 30.

In partnership with the Pink Women on Fire and Solar Power Initiative (SPIN) Project, Sef initiated a post-birthday celebration by immersing himself to the community and setting up a ‘Solar Powered Tubig Filtration System’. Through carbon-filtering, polluted water is processed to be more potable that results to 2400 glasses of clean water. The system requires minimal maintenance, making it ideal for remote sitios that have limited access to electricity and other advanced technology.

Sef plays his part in nation building and shares the reason for this advocacy. “This is my way of paying it forward. Aminin man natin o hindi, minsan nakakalimutan nating we have them around at minsan bumababa pa sila sa urban areas para humingi ng tulong. So ngayong nakakita ako ng opportunity, kinuha ko kaagad para ako naman ang lumapit at makapagbigay sa kanila,” the Kapuso star explains.

Meanwhile, another Kapuso star shares her big heart to the minority. Bubble Gang mainstay Jackie Rice reached out to the elderly of Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Marikina to celebrate her birthday and spend time with them.

Jackie admits to have a soft spot for lolos and lolas for the mere reason of compassion. She feels that making them feel neglected is a bit cruel if not ungrateful as most of them spent their lives caring for their children.

“Yung iba sa atin, nakakalimutan na ‘yung matatanda ang nagbigay buhay, nagpalaki, at nag-alaga sa atin. Tapos ang ending, walang nag-aalaga sa kanila. Ayokong maramdaman nila ‘yun kaya ginagawa ko ito.”

Aside from the fulfilment she gets from reaching out, she wants to be a role model. “Pag nagbibigay ka, ang sarap kasi. At saka baka ito na yung way para mas dumami pa ang mga taong ma-inspire na tumulong.”

As public figures who have millions of followers on their watch, their compassion does not only help those in need but also encourage their fans to do the same and  make a difference.

Simula May 8, wag nang alalahanin pa ang pagpaplano ng inyong menu of the day dahil handog ng GMA News TV at CDO Foodsphere, Inc. sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino ang pinakabagong cooking show na DISHKARTE of the DAY.

Ang programang ito ay pangungunahan ng award-winning Kapuso actress at celebrity mom na si Jennylyn Mercado. Itatampok sa Dishkarte of the Day ang iba’t ibang recipes gamit ang CDO Karne Norte at wais kitchen tips na talaga namang bagay na bagay para sa mga nanay.

Ibinahagi ni Jennylyn na dahil sa cooking show na ito ay marami siyang bagong maituturo na budget-friendly recipes na inihahanda niya para sa sa kanyang 7-year-old son na si Jazz.

“Dito, marami akong bagong recipes. Since pihikan si Jazz, yung nalalaman ko ina-apply ko sa bahay. Kahit busy ang sched ko ay naka- kapagluto ako ng healthy and easy-to-prepare food for Jazz. May natututunan din ako na useful kitchen tips mula sa mga guests.”

Bukod sa kanyang celebrity guests, makakasama ni Jennylyn bilang co-host ang Kapuso comedian na si Betong Sumaya. Kaya naman napaka- gaan para sa kanya na gawin ang programa dahil sa kasama niyang komedyante.

“Bukod sa tips and recipes na pwede nilang magamit sa cooking or sa kitchen, nakakatuwa rin kasi may co-host ako rito. May acting na kasama kaya masaya at mag-eenjoy ang mga viewers,” sabi niya.

Incidentally, big, big hit ang unang movie ni Jennylyn sa Star Cinema ang Just the 3 of Us where she’s teamed up with John Lloyd Cruz. Talaga namang unexpected ang pag-hit ng pelikula na tumabo lang naman ng 16 million on its opening day.

Kinabog talaga ang mga nakasabay kaya nakasisiguro si Jennylyn na may follow-up movie siya sa Star Cinema.

Dahil romcom ang tipo ng pelikula, hindi talaga nagpa-glamor si Jennylyn at okay lang sa kanyang hindi pabolosa ang kanyang hitsura

just to milk some laughters from the audience.

Anyway, John Lloyd hopes to do another movie with Jennylyn. For a change, gusto niya ng drama naman dahil bitin daw siya sa tambalan nila. Feeling niya, Jennylyn can give more and that is what he hopes to see and accomplish in their next movie.

IDEAL NA SAMAHAN

Masayang-masaya si Heart Evangelista na nakatutulong siya sa kandidatura ng better half niyang si Chiz Escudero.

Enjoy rin siya sa pangangampanya at na-realize niyang it only takes a little effort to make people smile.

“The things that you can do to make them smile,” she coos at the presscon tendered by Chiz the other day. “‘Yun lang ang magagawa ko

para magpasalamat sa lahat ng tulong nila kay Chiz at sa akin na rin.”

The mere fact that she made them smile by way of her presence makes her heart swell with gratitude.

“Grabe ang happiness nila. It gives me a good feeling that I made them smile. Tuwang-tuwa talaga sila and the happiness they gave me is immesureable.”

niya and together, they travel a lot.

hit tulog. Hahahahahahahaha!

Speaking of politics, Chiz says he is prepared for the worst. Kung manalo, fine.

Kung hindi naman, he is going back to his work as senator.

Pero ang unang-una niyang gagawin the very moment all of this is true ay ang matulog.

He is going to catch up on his sleep.
